August 1978 (3)
See September 1978...Here is one of many 'things to do' lists that feature throughout Rob's notebooks. Lyntone Recordings pressed the 'An Ideal for Living' twelve inch. Rabid was Tim LLewellyn's artists' agency. PSL (Peak Sound and Lighting) was the company Rob used for PA and Lighting equipment hire. Here Rob was planning the 4th September 1978 Band on the Wall gig. Joly McFie was the proprietor of Portobello Road's 'Better Badges', the famous punk button badge merchandiser. Journalist Paul Morley was an enthusiastic supporter of Joy Division. His name crops up frequently.
